Salah Issues Regret to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the group of players after the controversy from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match following making accusations and suggesting his connection to the head coach had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has refused to reveal on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.
Moving Forward
He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
The midfielder also implied that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “I understand there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the games following the initial controversy. Jones believes the outburst were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, the source has been from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and on a positive run.”
